The Stay
Your animals stay in the home they know, keeping to the routine they are used to. In more than a decade of this work, I have seen how much calmer they are for it.

The house gets the same care — locked up, thermostat set, mail in, and left as you left it.
How It Works
Everything is settled in advance, so nothing has to be worked out while you're away.
- A phone consultation and meet-and-greet, before anything is booked
- A signed veterinary authorization
- Access, contacts & times in writing
- Updates sent regularly during your trip
- Problems are reported to you the day they happen
- An invoice after the stay
Please share as much detail as you like — it is always better for me to be over-prepared. The vet form is hopefully never needed, but it means care can start straight away rather than waiting on a phone call.
Rates
$100 a day — cats and up to two dogs.
- $25 a day for each additional dog
- Other species — let's talk
- Counted in days, not nights — Thursday to Monday is five days
- Part days worked out between us, never by formula
- Plans change — we'll go over cancellations when we meet
I employ a sliding fee scale, as I never want to turn away clients due to financial constraints. If this rate doesn't work for you, no worries — we can certainly discuss one that does.
